Autumn perfume: the warm notes of the season
When the days grow shorter, what we love to wear changes too. A good autumn perfume feels rounder, warmer and closer to the skin than a light summer scent. Four scent directions define the season: gourmand scents with vanilla, caramel and tonka bean; spicy compositions with cinnamon, cardamom and saffron; resinous, smoky scents with oud, myrrh and incense; and woody, leathery notes with sandalwood, tobacco and leather. Ripe fruits such as plum, pear and apple add autumn's fruity side.
